"BMC SLR 01. Well it’s quite a ride: light, fast and comfortable. I rode it 3 times on moderately hilly routes, distances from 25-40k. Any pedal input is immediately rewarded, it accelerates very quickly. I’ve added 1mph over a regular ride without really trying. The frame is stiff as hell even pushing hard on out of saddle hill efforts and I’ve not detected any flex - hence the efficiency mentioned above and how well it climbs. Whilst stiff it’s also comfortable. Any rough road surfaces are smoothed out and I didn’t get any fatigue. It’s also comfortable and really stable at speed. I was way more confident on well known descents and taking corners tighter and faster. The SRAM force etap groupset performs really well. Shifting is fast, light and positive and brakes totally capable for riding hard and fast.
